Welcome to the
Comsewogue School District
Welcome to the web site of the Comsewogue School District. As the
Superintendent of Schools and a resident of the Port Jefferson
Station/Terryville community for over 35 years, I have the unique
privilege of living and working in one of the finest communities on Long
Island. We are proud of our accomplishments and excited at the
opportunity to share information about our school district through this
web site. With over 85% of our students receiving Regents diplomas, our
graduates attend many of the finest colleges and universities in the
nation. Comsewogue High School has been listed in the top 5% of high
schools in the nation because of the number and variety of Advanced
Placement courses offered to our students. Our students have been
honored for their academics, their talent in the arts, and on the
athletic field. In the last 4 years, two Comsewogue High School students
have been named Intel Science Research Semi-Finalists.As always, the
Board of Education and my office, along with the faculty and staff, are
striving to give your children the very best education available – Plus
Ultra!

Executive Session Notice
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Education of the
Comsewogue School District shall hold an Executive Session on
Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 7:30 p.m., at the Frank D’Addario
Administration Building, 290 Norwood Avenue, Port Jefferson Station,
New York, regarding a matter of employment history, appointment, or
promotion of a particular person and pending litigation.
